President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, Emugoriade I, on the 10th anniversary of his coronation as a monarch, praising the monarch’s decade of peaceful and purposeful leadership.
In a statement issued on Friday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President joined the government and people of Lagos State, the traditional institution, sons and daughters of Igbogbo Kingdom, and other well-wishers in celebrating the monarch as he marks the milestone.
Tinubu commended Oba Kasali, and accomplished lawyer and former public servant, for his contributions to the development of Igbogbo Kingdom, particularly in the areas of education, healthcare, youth engagement and religious harmony.
The President also lauded the traditional ruler for promoting peace, preserving the rich cultural heritage of the kingdom and advancing community development through exemplary traditional leadership and active engagement with his people.
He urged the monarch to continue using his exalted position to make meaningful contributions to governance and national development in support of efforts to improve the lives of Nigerians.
Tinubu prayed that Almighty God would grant the lawyer-turned-monarch good health, wisdom, strength and many more years of fruitful and impactful reign on the throne of his forefathers.
